"Words simply do not describe the sheer beauty of Evelyn's work. To call them photographs is demeaning. They are works of art translated by her through a camera."

Nature and wildlife photographer,
and environmentalist, Evelyn Bernstein, is a photographer of light. Her photographic images harkens the work of
English, Romantic landscape artist, Joseph Mallord William Turner.
Evelyn’s first book, The
Spirit of Nature, brilliantly captures the spirit of the subject and essence of
the moment; reflective of Turner’s relationship to light in that he found light
to be the spirit of God, unleashed.
Evelyn uses light and focus to
enhance the silent nuances of the passion of life and living. Of note are Evelyn’s studies of man
together with that of nature. Like
Turner, Evelyn places man in a world dwarfing humanity in its scope and magnificence;
revealing the omnipotence of Nature’s ever presence and being.
